Trailerama: Tiny Furniture

Aura is back from college. She has a film degree and broke up with her boyfriend, which means that Aura doesn’t really know what she’s going to do next. That very post-graduate inertia, however, ends up attracting a gaggle of odd characters, like the boyfriend who won’t leave and a friend from the past. Nor did that degree go to waste–we see at least one reference to Truffaut’s Bed and Board. Lena Dunham writes, directs and stars in this family-centered portrait of a 21st century wastrel. Screening at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival.
